This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end revenue cycle, including coding, billing, denial management, collections, and payment posting. The manager works closely with clinical, administrative, and financial teams to optimize cash flow, maintain compliance, and support organizational financial goals. They will assist in managing the daily operations of the revenue cycle. They should have the ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Revenue Cycle Medical Collection Specialist
The Revenue Cycle Medical Collection Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances, resolving denied or unpaid claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance carriers, government payers, and patients. This role plays a critical part in the revenue cycle process by reducing aged accounts receivable, identifying trends in denials, and maintaining positive patient and payer relationships.
Medical Billing Clerk
The Medical Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing, reviewing, and submitting medical claims to insurance companies, government payers, and patients. This role ensures timely reimbursement by handling billing processes, posting payments, preparing and submitting electronic and paper claims to insurance carriers and third-party payers, verifying accuracy of billing information, including patient demographics, insurance details, and coding.
Medical Coder
The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services. This role ensures compliance with coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory standards to optimize reimbursement and support accurate medical records.
